We are excited to release our 2024 Rosa Lee Petit Verdot! After the great success of last year’s offering, we decided to maintain our certified-organic trio of Napa Valley grapes: 78% Petit Verdot from Yountville, 11% Zinfandel from Oakville, and 11% Malbec from Yountville.

The warm 2024 vintage supplied bountiful sunlight, which allowed the grapes to reach optimal ripeness while maintaining vibrant acidity. This led our three-varietal blend down a unique path, with the Petit Verdot reaching peak maturity in mid-October while the Zinfandel and Malbec were ready in late September. We aged these bold and distinct wines separately in American Oak barrels before blending in the fall, letting them integrate for an additional 6 months prior to bottling in December 2025.

Deep ruby in color, complex and continually evolving aromas of blackberry pie, blueberry, and mocha are complemented by subtle plum and clove. Quenching acidity and supple tannins are balanced by juicy flavors of ripe black cherry, anise, and caramel. Only 350 cases were produced.
