ZD Awarded Winery of the Year at Monterey Int'l Wine Competition!
Plan Your Visit & Taste WhyThis 2010 ZD Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon once again shows our commitment to producing powerful yet balanced wines from some of the best vineyard sites in the Napa Valley.
Each vineyard lot for this wine was hand harvested and fermented separately in small stainless steel open top fermentors. Hand punchdowns during fermentation ensured a gentle extraction of color and tannin. The lots were then barrel aged for about ten months and the final blend was returned to small American oak cooperage and aged for another 12-14 months.
After revisiting this wine in 2017, the Library Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is showing beautiful aromas of plum, cassis, mulberry, clove, and cinnamon. The palate is rich with firm tannins and red fruit, and mingles with a supple, lingering finish.
