Library Selection Wine

This wine is a testament to a fine California Chardonnay. 2015 was a complex vintage that showcased the warmer growing season with dry weather conditions that persisted through harvest. The combined influences led to a smaller, intensely concentrated crop that provided a rich balance of bright fruit with delicate acidity.
Using fruit from ideal growing regions of Santa Barbara, Monterey, and Carneros, the grapes were hand harvested at night, then cold fermented in barrels for 4-8 weeks. The cool fermentation allows for optimal richness and depth, while preventing malolactic fermentation - ensuring a fruit-forward wine that cohesively highlights the bright tropical fruit with the natural acidity of the coastal vineyards. The wine is then aged for 10 months in American Oak barrels.
Pleasant tropical aromas of guava and pineapple mingle with lemon zest and vanilla. The richness on the palate livens the mouth with a smooth, natural acidity that lends to this well-balanced wine.
